NEW SERVICE – HOLIDAY DOG WALKING OR MINDING
Are you visiting or staying in the area with your dog?
Would you like to visit the local attractions; but can’t take your dog? Cannot leave them in the holiday accommodation unattended or for any length of time without a toilet break or walk? You obviously cannot leave them in the car, so what can you do?
Want to visit the local shops, stop for lunch; but don’t want to leave your dogs tied up outside?
Love visiting the National Trust Property’s, but can normally only walk around the outside of the Estate with your dog? Or usually have to leave someone behind to watch them?
As dog owners ourselves; we truly appreciate the fun and limitations of taking our four legged friends on holiday with us, it can be very frustrating when all you might need is a couple of hours dog care to make your visit complete.
Perhaps you have an older dog with different care needs, or a puppy who needs less exercise than the family! Why not let us help you and your dog; make the most of your stay in Glastonbury?
What we can do….
We can tailor make a temporary service to meet your holiday needs, such as minding your dog in your holiday accommodation, caravan, tent or suchlike. We can walk, play or feed them as you request. If you are allowed to leave your dog unattended; we can just pop in and visit them or take them out for a nice walk while you enjoy a worry free time!
We offer two services within our ‘On-Holiday Service’ for you to choose from or put together depending on your dog’s specific needs:
- Dog Walking; we can exercise your dog/s in the way you want; either on or off lead (if you are confident they will come back when called) we can take them to any place you specify – that will help your dog feel safe while you are away from them. We charge from £8 per HALF hour for dog walks, but you can opt for more time and we will only charge for what you want from 30 mins (minimum) upwards.
- Dog minding; is where we will just be with your pet, let them out for regular toilet breaks, play or feed them as you require. This service starts at £8 per hour.
Do you have more than one dog? Or are on holiday with friends and family who also have dogs? We can bring up to four dogs (per minder) together – if they normally get along. We charge an additional £2 per extra dog, per hour for either walking or minding.
Unlike our other services where we get to know our regular clients dogs over a period of time, with our Holiday Services; we will need to develop a trusting relationship very quickly, we find the best trick for this is your dogs most favourite treats (which you will need to supply) – this helps your dog understand we mean no harm and that more good things will come!
You will need to provide us with care plan details, prior to any type of visit – so we can ensure we are doing things the way you want them done, this also puts your dog at ease with us. We will post or email the relevant paperwork to you, once you have made your initial enquiry.
With over 76 years (joint) experience of dogs (and other pets) we can usually find a way to work with most dogs. Unfortunately we are unable to offer this service to dogs known to be aggressive or unsociable.
In addition to our pet experience, we also have a reasonable amount of caravanning and camping experience too, we are fully insured for all of the work we undertake and have clear CRB checks available for you to see (upon request) for your added assurance.

PLEASE NOTE; At the moment this service is only available Monday to Thursdays, between 10am and 2pm. And that we cannot board your dogs for you.
